Rob Schneider’s enthusiasm for photography began when
Mabel Robrock taught him how to develop film and make prints at the age of six.
Rob has always had a camera near at hand, but he didn’t turn professional until
1996. While working for other Boston-area photographers Rob studied photography
at the New England School of Photography and Mass. College of Art. Rob is an
enthusiast of contemporary documentary photography and urban street photography.
He has taken workshops and master classes with Costa Manos, Charles Harbutt,
Eugene Richards, and Sylvia Plachy, some of the finest photographers working
in the modern documentary style. When Rob turned his cameras toward wedding photography
he studied with the acknowledged master of wedding photojournalism, Denis Reggie.
Rob is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), Wedding and
Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and Professional Photographers of
America (PPA).
Robert Schneider Photography delivers stylish, contemporary, documentary
wedding photography to discerning brides and grooms who truly value photography
as art. Using a mix of black and white and color, Rob works in the manner of
the classic picture-story photographers, quietly moving through the scene, recording
